PRIVATE AERIAL HUNT · TEXAS HILL COUNTRY
Helicopter Hog Hunting in Texas
THE EXPERIENCE
A hunt you can only get from the air
Helicopter hog hunting is the most exhilarating way to take on Texas’s feral hog problem. You lift off from the Hill Country and fly low and fast over open ranchland, tracking and engaging hogs from the open door with an FAA-certified pilot at the controls and an expert guide on comms. It’s fast, precise, and unlike any hunt you’ve done on the ground.
What to expect.
After a full safety briefing and gear-up, you strap in and launch into the Hill Country. Your crew spots hogs from altitude and puts you on target, staying with you on comms throughout the flight. When you touch down, you debrief, swap stories, and unwind — most guests land already planning the next one.

RANCH & LAND MANAGEMENT
Take Your Land Back From Feral Hogs
Feral hogs cost Texas landowners millions in damage every year. Last Shadow helps ranchers and land managers thin populations fast — protecting livestock, crops, and property with targeted aerial removal that covers more ground in hours than ground methods do in weeks.
BEFORE YOUR HUNT
Your Hunt, Answered.
Everything you need to know before you fly — from licensing to what to pack.
Do I need experience or a hunting license?
No experience necessary — our guides walk you through everything from the safety briefing to your first shot. And because we operate under a permitted aerial management program, no Texas hunting license is required to take part.
When is the best time to hunt?
We fly year-round — feral hogs have no closed season in Texas. The cooler months from fall through spring tend to offer the best visibility and the most active hogs, but every season delivers.
What should I bring?
Just weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe boots, sunglasses, and a sense of adventure. We provide the firearms, optics, ammunition, communications, and all safety gear, and we'll send a full prep list once you book.
What firearms do we use, and is success guaranteed?
You'll fly with suppressed AR-platform rifles and optics, provided and fitted before takeoff. No hunt can promise exact numbers, but the Hill Country's dense hog population and our experienced pilots put you in the action fast.
